This special not-for-profit edition of Jonny Zucker’s footballing masterpiece ‘Striker Boy’ has been published in aid of Mind, the mental health charity. To celebrate the launch, we’re running a national writing competition open to KS2/3 children of all ability levels.

It’s easy to take part and there will be a lot of jaws hitting floors when the children hear what they can win.

If there are children in your class who like football, this competition is the ideal way to ignite their passion and show them just how exciting books can be!

Take part for free

We would love you to take part by purchasing at least one print copy, as this will raise money for Mind and give Jonny a lasting legacy in your school library. But we don’t think money should ever stand in the way of a child who wants to read!

That’s why we’ve made a free PDF copy of the book available which can be read on a computer or tablet.

Download the free PDF here, order a single copy (£6.99) hereor use the button below to order multiple copies. You are very welcome to use the free PDF alongside print copies if you don’t have the budget to buy a copy for each child.
